TUBES
Research & Production Corporation "Trubostal", Ltd. is
the biggest in Ukraine and Europe manufacturer of centrifugally cast tubes
of wide range of sizes. Short technological cycle, excellent quality of metal and geometry
of tubes, possibility of melting of metal of any composition, provide for
centrifugally cast tubes high competitiveness. In some cases, when seamless
heavy walled tubes with big OD are necessary, or when the tube is
manufactured of hardly deformed or non-deformed steel or alloy, -
centrifugally cast tubes have no alternative among known processes of tubes
production.

Tubes are manufactured of carbon,- alloyed structural,- high-alloyed
wear-resistant,- stainless,- corrosion-resistant,- heat-resistant & temperature
resistant steels and alloys, cast iron, as well as bi-metallic ones with
different combinations of layers. There are mastered more than 200 grades
of steel and cast iron, 35 bi-metallic combinations. In 2007 production of
tubes of ODs up to 1600mm is planned.
Tubes are supplied as cast, machined, heat-treated, as finished
articles.
Centrifugally cast tubes are used by manufacture of radiant tubes,
high-temperature muffles and retorts, as well as high-quality,- and
economical blanks (instead of forgings) for manufacture of bearing cases,
pumps, cylinders, valves; bushings for slush pumps, including bi-metallic
ones; rings, shrouds, flanges, blanks for gears; rolls, bending rolls,
rollers, including ones used in furnaces; moulds; hollow billets for
further deformation, high-pressure power plants, burials, etc.
High corrosion resistance lets successfully use them as material for
articles serving in sea water, columns of oil platforms, water-insulating
columns, piles and supports with anticorrosive silica-oxide coating.
Wear-resistant and chemically-resistant bi-metallic centrifugally cast
tubes are used for transportation of pulp and granular materials. Parties
of tubes are furnished with bi-metallic elbows.

 BI-METALLIC BUSHINGS
FOR SLUSH PUMPS
R&PC “Trubostal”, Ltd. is manufacturer of unique centrifugally
cast tubes used for manufacture of bushings for slush pumps.
Wear-resistant inner layer provides durability of bushings 12-17 times
higher than by those ones traditionally used, excellent showed itself by
service with mud solutions in conditions of Far North.
Outer layer of tube is made of ductile carbon steel making easier machining
and mounting of bushings.
Chemical composition and properties of wear-resistant layer may be chosen
depending on conditions of service with due regard for the temperature of
environment, size, shape and properties of abrasive particles.
Outer, inner and dividing diameters vary in a wide range of dimensions in
dependence of requirements of a customer.
Rational choose of dividing diameter gives possibility to carry out
reboring of bushings, which additionally will extend service life.
Characteristic for centrifugal casting columnar structure with radial orientation
of crystallites do favour increased wear resistance too.
There’s provided supply not only of tubes, but also of blanks of bushings
with pre-finished dimensions, and finished bushings as well.
BIMETALLIC CENTRIFUGALLY CAST TUBES ODs 160-1060mm
1. High-pressure pulp feed-lines (under pressure up to 200
atmospheres) with an internal high-wear-resisting layer and an outer one of
carbon steel. Wear resistance of these tubes by passing of diamond- and
gold-containing pulp is 20-28 times higher than that one of the tubes of
carbon steels. Joining of the pulp feed-line elements to be made by means
of flanges or by butt-welding of outer layers.
2. Middle- and low-pressure pulp feed-lines with an inner
chemical- and wear-resistant layer.
3. Pipe-lines for boilers and another power plants with
inner- or outer heat-resistant layer.
4. Rolls having layer with high-temperature strength for
heating furnaces.
5. Rolls for continuous-casting machines to cast blanks with
wear-resistance 7-10 times higher than of the serial ones.
6. Tubes with layers to be made on order of customer.
7. Bimetallic tubes are furnished with joining elements (elbows,
reducers, tees) with the lining analogous to the lining of the basic tube.
PIPE-LINE COMPONENTS
    
R&PC "Trubostal" created manufacture of seamless pipe
elbows, reducers, tees, caps, flanges of OD range from 22mm to 630mm of
carbon,- boiler,- cracking,- and stainless steels in compliance with
requirements of Specifications GOST and international standards. There is
also mastered manufacture of elbows of titanium alloys, high-strength
steels and bi-metallic combinations. Besides that, there are manufactured
pipe-line components according to special Specifications for thermal,- and
atomic power stations, and for enterprises of oil & gas refineries.
Fittings serve for jointing pipe-lines of water-, steam-, oil- and gas
supply. We are able to manufacture fittings to serve in aggressive
environment of other steels.
Elbow and other fittings manufactured at the R&PC “Trubostal”,
Ltd. are consumed not only in Ukraine.

 COLD-STRAINED SEAMLESS TUBES
Tubes are manufactured
within OD range from 18 to 108mm acc. to GOST 8734-75 and other standards.
They are mainly used for manufacture elbows, bends, reducers and tees of
higher precision of various grades of steel.
