"TUBOSTAL” HAS GOT THE CERTIFICATE OF QUALITY
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM COMPLIANCE TO THE
REQUIREMENTS OF ISO 9001 : 2000

 At the
end of March 2005 the specialists of company “TUV-NORD-ÑERT UKRAINE”, which
is the official representative of one of the oldest technical supervision
authorities in Europe TUV-NORD (Hamburg, Germany), “cut through the window
into the world” for one more Ukrainian manufacturer of tubes and elbows.
They have inspected, whether the management systems of product quality,
manufactured by Research & Production Corporation “Trubostal” and its
structural subdivision – CJSC “R&PA “Trubolit” are in compliance with
he requirements of international standard EN ISO 9001 : 2000. The Nikopol
enterprises have passed the examination more then successfully. And now the
“green light” is officially given to their products, allowing mastering
almost the whole world market. The appropriate certificates, recommended to
issue by Ukrainian authority of certification TUV-ÑERT by technical
inspection TUV-NORD-ÑERT GmbH & Co. KG essentially expands the export abilities of
Trubostal.
- After the certificate
audit of R&PC “Trubostal”, - as the leading TUV-CERT auditor Valeriy
Kuchkin and auditor Vladimir Matviyenko have noticed,- we came to the
conclusion, that the system of quality observance at this enterprise is in
compliance with the standard EN ISO 9001 : 2000 and quite deserves this
certificate. The supervision audit at CJSC “Trubolit” gave all reasons to
prolong such certificate validity, issued earlier, at this plant. Other
words, audit practically acknowledged, that centrifugally cast tubes (including unique
tubes of two layer bimetallic compositions), the wide range of products,
made from them, and also elbows of different steels and alloys correspond
already officially to the requirements of European norms of technical
supervision authorities and consumers, national standards, acting in
different world countries, European directives. That is especially
important from the point of Ukrainian economics integration to European one
and that fact, that Trubostal product can’t be obtained by traditional in
tubes and pipes field ways of hot rolling and pressing. There is no tubes
range analogous to the proposed by Trubostal in Ukraine and CIS countries.
By the way, the aspiration for the German quality has distinguished
“Trubostal” even earlier. Progress of R&PC “Trubostal” in tubes cast
manufacturing development and elbows producing were rewarded with the
“International Gold Star for quality” –the award of authoritative European Organisation
“Directions of Business Initiatives” in Geneva (Switzerland) in 2003.
Approximately at this time the quality system of centrifugally-cast
manufacturing at CJSC “Trubolit” was certified according to EN ISO 9001 :
2000. But elbows were certified only in the system “UkrSepro”. “This
circumstance, - underlined the Director General of R&PC “Trubostal”
Alexandr Feldman, - hampered our advancement to the international markets a
little bit. But now, after we had received a high appraisal of our product
quality from “TUV-NORD CERT” experts, we got the possibility and are just ready
to export it to the USA, Canada, to all EU countries – in short, to any
point of the terrestrial globe”.

“Trubostal” was founded in 1989 and has in its body a plant to manufacture
centrifugally cast tubes of any steel grades CJCS “R&PA “Trubolit”, a
plant to manufacture elbows (with diameter range 22-630mm) and to manufacture
cold-strained tubes, mechano-assembling production and it is also engaged
into a large innovation work. There is approximately 1,2 thousand of employees
working at R&PC “Trubostal”. Nearly 40% of all product range are exported
to the countries of Central- and West Europe, Middle Asia and the Near East.
CJSC “Trubolit” is created on the basis of tube casting shop of OJSC “Nikopol
Pivdenno-trubniy” plant with participation of R&PC”Trubostal”.
